I have a problem with my laptop screen display and would like to ask you the solution. Processor graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3520M CPU 2.90 GHz I tried to register the hotkeys to Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Up, Down, Left, Right and the UI accepted the changes but the hotkeys aren't registered, instead the following hotkeys are registered Ctrl + Shift + Up, Do wn, Left, Right -> this makes selecting words and the like impossible which is very annoying.

These hotkeys aren't available in any other application on the system (global hotkeys) and the option to enable hotkeys in the UI is turned off (disabled).Ĭhanging the hotkeys to somet hing else will release the hotkeys so it looks as though the driver registers the hotkeys no matter what.Ī second issue is that there's a problem with hotkey registration. It looks as though the application registers all the hotkeys even if the hotkeys are disabled.īy default the following hotkeys are registered: Ctrl + Alt + Up, Ctrl + Alt + Down, Ctrl + Alt + Left, Ctrl + Alt + Right. I have recently installed the latest Intel Graphics drivers for Windows 8 and 8.1 圆4 and I'm experiencing an annoying bug with global hotkeys. So is this a graphics related issue? Hardware problems with my laptop? or issue with Windows 8.1? I tried to shut down the laptop and turn it off 21 times til now. and the latest nVIDIA driver and the issue of laptop hang when laptop shuts down while display is off didn't appear til now. I installed the Intel driver "GFX_Win7_8_8.1_64_10." and the latest nVIDIA driver 340.52-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql and tested the issue, the computer restarts instead of shutting down still persists.Īfter that, I uninstalled both the drivers and installed the latest Intel driver 10. Sometimes when I shut down laptop, it restarts instead of shutting down and sometimes when I let IDM automatically shuts it down when it finishes downloading, when the IDM shuts Windows while the display is turned off, sometimes the laptop hangs on with the power button lit and fan running at very fast speed I have to hold the power button to shut it down. I was installing the Intel Graphics Driver HD 4000 version 10. I have a Dell Inspiron 15z 5523 Intel(R) core i7-5537U laptop with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and 2 GB NVIDIA Geforce GT 630M
